The “Privacy policy” page of this Website is specifically dedicated to all questions relating to the protection of personal data processed by ALTIJ.

The "Cookies Policy" page of this Website is specifically dedicated to all questions relating to the conditions of deposit, management and deletion of cookies and other electronic trackers that may be installed on an Internet user's equipment when browsing the Website.


Professional ethics:

As lawyers, the members of ALTIJ are subject to the code of ethics of lawyers, in the form of the National Internal Regulations of the legal profession (“RIN”) in France, under article 21-1 of the amended law of 31 December 1971, and the Charter of essential principles of the European lawyer, adopted on 24 November 2006.

Furthermore, ALTIJ is subject to professional secrecy in accordance with article 2 of the RIN in the following terms:


The lawyer is the necessary confidant of the client.

The lawyer's professional secrecy is of public order. It is general, absolute and unlimited in time.

Subject to the strict requirements of his own defence before any court and the cases of declaration or disclosure provided for or authorised by law, the lawyer shall not, in any matter, make any disclosure contrary to professional secrecy.



Professional secrecy covers in all matters, in the field of advice or defence, and whatever the medium, material or immaterial (paper, fax, electronic ...):

- consultations addressed by a lawyer to his client or intended for the latter;

- correspondence exchanged between the client and his lawyer and between the lawyer and his fellow lawyers, with the exception of those stated as being “official”;

- the notes of interviews and more generally all the documents in the file, all information and confidences received by the lawyer in the exercise of the profession;

- the names of clients and the lawyer's agenda;

- the pecuniary settlements and all handling of funds carried out in application of article 27 paragraph 2 of the law of 31 December 1971;

- information requested by the auditors or any third party (information which may only be communicated by the lawyer to his client). (...)”.


Article 2 – Access to and consultation of the Website

Access to and consultation of the Website are reserved for strictly private and personal use (including in the context of information or management by the Internet user of his own professional activity), not collective and not exclusive.

The information, data and content of this Website may not at any time be used for commercial, political or advertising purposes or for any form of commercial solicitation, in particular the sending of unsolicited e-mails.

Furthermore, the Website may not be used in any way other than to inform the Internet user about ALTIJ or the topics covered by the articles published on the Website.

The information, data and content of this Website are provided for information purposes only. The Website may be updated as and when regulations change or as ALTIJ wishes to publish information on it.

The user is reminded of the importance of taking all appropriate measures to protect his or her own equipment and data, in particular from viral attacks via the Internet.

The Website, and in particular the contact form, may not be used to provide content which is inappropriate, obscene, discriminatory, abusive, violent, threatening or defamatory, which infringes intellectual property rights, which are contrary to applicable laws and regulations and which constitute unsolicited advertising, whether commercial in nature or not.

When communicating personal data, whether you are the individual concerned or whether the data concerns a third party, you are reminded of the imperative need to communicate only the data strictly necessary for your exchanges via the Website.

No use may be made of computer flaws, bugs or any other form of error to obtain advantages in using the Website.

Article 4 - Intellectual property

This Website constitutes a work of which ALTIJ is the author within the meaning of articles L.111-1 et seq. of the French Intellectual Property Code.

All intellectual property rights and other rights relating to the Website, including copyright, trademarks, designs and models, and database rights, are and remain the exclusive property of ALTIJ and, in the case of licensed rights, of their authors and/or owners.

The photographs, texts, slogans, trademarks, drawings, images, animated sequences with or without sound, as well as any work integrated into this Website are the exclusive property of ALTIJ or of third parties having authorised ALTIJ to use them.

Similarly, the logos, icons and graphic chips represented on the Website are protected under copyright and articles L.511-1 et seq. of the French Intellectual Property Code relating to the protection of registered designs.

The ALTIJ trademarks are registered with the INPI and/or the EUIPO and protected as such by the provisions relating to the French trademark and the European Union trademark.

Reproductions, on a paper or computer medium, of the said Website and of the works reproduced therein are authorised provided that they are:

  • strictly reserved for personal use, excluding any use for advertising and/or commercial purposes, and
  • they comply with the provisions of article L.122-5 of the French Intellectual Property Code.

Apart from this sole hypothesis, any reproduction, representation, use or modification, by any process whatsoever and on any medium whatsoever, of all or part of the Website, of all or part of the various works that make it up, without having obtained ALTIJ's prior authorisation, is strictly forbidden and constitutes an infringement of copyright.

Article 5 - Hypertext links

ALTIJ authorises, on a non-exclusive and freely revocable basis, the creation of hypertext links to the Website.

At ALTIJ's request, any hypertext link created on a third-party site must be withdrawn immediately, without prejudice to ALTIJ's rights to obtain compensation for any prejudice caused by the creation of said link.

ALTIJ expressly forbids any deep hypertext link to the Website without its prior and express written authorisation.

ALTIJ shall not accept or be obliged to accept any hypertext link allowing access from the Website, directly or indirectly, to websites or pages of websites whose content is contrary to the essential principles of the legal profession and to any of the regulations that may be applicable. Consequently, ALTIJ reserves the right to remove any link existing on the Website to a third party site if ALTIJ finds such a contravention of the said principles or of any of the said regulations.
